Warehouse Supervisor – Audio Visual Live Events/Dry Hire

Are you an experienced Warehouse Supervisor with a background in the events or AV industry? We’re currently working in partnership with a leading Audio Visual dry hire company based in South West London (SW19), who are on the lookout for a hands-on, detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to join their fast-paced, collaborative team.

The Role

As Warehouse Supervisor, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy AV warehouse, ensuring equipment is prepped, maintained, and dispatched to the highest standard. You’ll play a vital role in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes – working closely with technicians, freelancers, and project managers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising a small warehouse team and freelancers during peak periods
• Ensuring all AV equipment (lighting, video, sound, rigging, etc.) is properly tested, cleaned, and prepped for dry hire
• Coordinating incoming and outgoing rentals, checking kit in and out using the asset tracking system
• Managing repairs, stock control, and inventory management
• Maintaining health & safety standards and keeping the warehouse well-organized
• Liaising with transport and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and collections

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and has a solid understanding of AV kit, preferably gained within a rental or events setting.

You’ll need:

• Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or senior technician role
• Strong understanding of AV equipment (lighting, audio, video, rigging, etc.)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• The ability to lead and motivate a small team
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends, especially during busy event periods
• Forklift license or PAT testing certification is a bonus (but not essential)
