Overview:
We are working with leading provider of Audio Visual (AV) solutions for both residential and commercial sectors, based in London. We are seeking a Junior/Assistant AV Project Manager to join their growing team.

As a Junior/Assistant AV Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of AV projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the AV sector, working with both residential clients and commercial businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination & Support

  • Assist in managing multiple AV projects from inception to completion, ensuring time lines, budgets, and client expectations are met.
  • Coordinate project logistics, including scheduling, procurement, and resource allocation.
  • Support senior project managers in preparing project documentation, such as contracts, budgets, schedules, and progress reports.
  • Liaise with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth communication and timely delivery of project milestones.

Client Communication & Relationship Management

  • Maintain effective communication with clients, ensuring they are updated on project status, timelines, and any potential changes.
  • Support senior project managers in addressing client queries and providing technical explanations of AV systems and solutions.
  • Ensure that all client requirements are captured and followed through during the project lifecycle.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports, including technical drawings, installation manuals, and handover documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of project expenses, changes, and progress to ensure projects are delivered within scope and budget.
  • Support the completion of post-project reviews and assist in compiling feedback from clients.

Skills & Experience Required:

Essential:

  • Strong interest in Audio Visual technology and systems.
  • Some experience in project coordination, administration, or AV installation (through previous roles, internships, or education).
  • Basic understanding of AV equipment, systems, and installations (e.g., audio systems, video conferencing, control systems).
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

Desirable:

  • Experience working in the AV or construction industries in a project coordination or support role.
  • Familiarity with AV industry standards and best practices.
  • A basic understanding of electrical systems and technical drawings.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
